When you visit Happy Trails Nutrition, you will receive prescribed dietary advice from a Registered Dietitian that is tailored to your goals and lifestyle.

Appointment Length

All initial appointments are 60 minutes.

Follow-up appointments can be requested as 30 minute or 60 minute time slots. Your Registered Dietitian may recommend a certain length.

Appointment Location

We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. In-person visits occur at 108 North Main Street in White River Junction, Vermont. Parking is available in the back of the building. Currently, telehealth appointments are only available to Vermont and New Hampshire residents.

Please note that our facility is accessible for persons with a physical disability. 

Appointment Frequency

Patients can book appointments at any frequency that helps them achieve their goals - weekly, monthly, or annually.

Electronic Medical Records

Happy Trails Nutrition uses Healthie to provide patients their electronic medical record. You will be asked to create a free login to the application prior to your first visit. This application can be used to connect with your Registered Dietitian via a chat function, with opportunities to share progress between appointments.

If your insurance is not listed, or your therapy is not covered by your insurance, we are able to produce a superbill.

Fee Schedule

Our out-of-pocket fees are currently:

Initial Appointment: $150

60-minute Follow-up Appointment: $140

30-minute Follow-up Appointment: $70

We accept Cash App, Venmo, checks to “Happy Trails Nutrition L.L.C.”, and cash.

Policies

Late Arrivals

We kindly request that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Our grace period is 15 minutes past the appointment start time. All appointments will end at their scheduled time regardless of start time.

Cancellation Policy

If canceled more than three days in advance, there is no cancellation fee.

For any cancellations within 72 hours, 50% of the appointment cost will be charged to the patient. Patients who no-show will be charged the full cost of the visit. Patients will follow the “three-strikes” rule: If patients no-show or cancel within 72-hours three times, they cannot schedule with Happy Trails Nutrition again.

As a small business, this is a necessary policy to support our mission.

Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, in-person appointments can be switched to telehealth. Your Registered Dietitian must confirm the patient’s request to switch to telehealth via the Healthie portal, email, or phone call.
